Kathy, San Marcos Office Manager

Kathy has been part of the dental profession for more than two decades! She was educated as a Registered Dental Assistant at Bryman University in Canoga Park, California, where she graduated in 1977. She’s worked alongside Dr. Howard since 1993 and has a passion for providing excellent care to all their patients.

Kathy loves that Dr. Howard has advanced training in all aspects of dentistry and spares no expense when it comes to modern dental equipment and supplies. He puts the patient’s needs first! Dr. Howard is at the top of his field and provides perfection to our patients. He makes the office a wonderful place to work, according to Kathy.

Kathy makes her home in Escondido, where she lives with her husband. They have four adult children and two grandchildren. When not at work, Kathy enjoys home decorating, gardening, muscle cars, travel, and jewelry.

Debra, Rancho Bernardo
Office Manager &
Internal Marketing Coordinator

Debra has been part of the dental field for more than seven years; she first joined Dr. Howard’s
Rancho Bernardo practice in 2012. She thrives on always having a variety of tasks to accomplish, which helps keep her focused. And meeting new people is a great perk, too!

She really loves being part of a practice that takes the time and makes every effort to value every single dental patient. Instead of focusing on a daily or monthly monetary goal, the focus remains on each patient as an individual with their own unique needs and concerns.

Debra currently makes her home in Valley Center with her husband; together, they have five children! When not at work, she enjoys gardening, cooking, writing, making all-natural health and beauty products, and refurbishing furniture.

Mayra, San Marcos Office Assistant

Mayra makes follow-up appointments, answers phones, and readies the charts for patient care. She was born and raised in San Marcos, and she’s been with
Dr. Howard since 2007. She enjoys working with everyone and thinks Dr. Howard is a great dentist.

Mayra seeks to provide excellent customer service, which is easy since the patients are so happy and nice! She values being friendly and polite to everyone and strives to be efficient, which is an important aspect of working in a busy office.

Mayra has a six-year-old daughter and loves spending time with her family. During her time off, they enjoy camping together.

Alessondra, Registered Dental Hygienist

Alessondra helps patients reach optimal periodontal health! She tailors care to a patient’s individual needs and strives to be personable, thorough, and professional.

Alessondra received her Bachelors of Science from Southern Illinois University in 1998, and she joined Dr. Howard’s practice in 2006. She values the relationships built with her patients and the high quality of dental care she’s able to provide for them.

She enjoys staying current with her knowledge and technical skills as well, such as laser certification for the diode laser, the latest in technology used to achieve optimal periodontal health. She loves to work with her patients on an individual basis!

Alessondra is married and has been blessed with a daughter and identical twin sons. She’s very involved with North County Moms of Multiples and loves spending time with her family. Listening to music and dancing are two of her favorite things to do!

Nicole, Registered Dental Hygienist

Nicole currently resides in San Diego, and she’s been working in the dental field for nearly twenty years, joining the practice in 2009. She has a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from the University of Tennessee and is a Registered Dental Hygienist in Alternative Practice from the University of the Pacific.

She thinks that Dr. Howard is an amazing, talented, and caring dentist who is a pleasure to work with. She likes that Dr. Howard takes the time to explain procedures and always puts forth his best efforts to obtain the desired outcome for the patients. Nicole always puts the oral health care of her patients first and offers gentle, yet thorough cleanings. She believes in educating patients about the importance of dental hygiene.

Nicole lives in Rancho Bernardo with her husband of nineteen years. They have three beautiful daughters and enjoy watching their girls play travel softball.

Nadia, Registered Dental Assistant

Nadia rejoined Dr. Howard’s cosmetic and implant dental practice in 2010. She’s been in the dental field for more than ten years and stays up-to-date on dentistry through continuing education courses. She loves the quality and care that comes from Dr. Howard for all their patients. She loves everyone’s professionalism and how the staff works well together as a team. Nadia takes great pride in caring for all patients equally. She enjoys working in a place where she knows that everybody is receiving quality dentistry.

Nadia enjoys reading books, participating in family sports, and watching scary and action movies. She has two boys who keep her busy with school and sports. They are both active in lacrosse and football.
